Your security matters to us. That’s why every FVSBank debit card is protected by 24/7 fraud monitoring, helping detect suspicious activity before it impacts your account. If unusual activity is detected, we’ll act quickly to contact you and temporarily restrict your card to prevent further fraud.
What We Monitor
Our fraud monitoring system reviews your card activity for:
Transactions that don’t match your normal spending habits.
Purchases made at unusual times or in unfamiliar locations.
Charges similar to known or ongoing fraud trends.
If flagged, a fraud analyst may contact you on behalf of FVSBank Card Services to confirm the activity.
How You’ll Be Contacted
If fraud is suspected, you’ll receive a call from a live analyst – never a robocall.
📅 Calls are placed between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM
🙋 You’ll be addressed by name and given the last four digits of your debit card
🏦 The caller will identify themselves as calling on behalf of Fox Valley Savings Bank (FVSBank)
If the transactions is fraudulent:
🔒 Your card remains blocked, and you’ll be asked to contact or visit your local branch
If the transaction is valid:
✅ Your card will be reopened or reviewed further with our team
🚫 Important: FVSBank will never contact you by email or text to request sensitive information such as your:

How You Can Protect Your Account
📱 Keep your phone number and address up to date
✈️ Submit a travel notice in the FVSBank Mobile App before using your card outside your normal area
🔍 Regularly review your account activity via Online or Mobile Banking
📵 Don’t trust caller ID alone—fraudsters can spoof phone numbers
🚨 Report unauthorized transactions immediately

👁️ Inspect the ATM for loose or suspicious parts before inserting your card
