Is your Debit Card Misplaced or Lost?

 

I may have temporarily misplaced it

Use Manage Cards to temporarily tern your debit card off while you look for it.

  1. Log in to FVSBank Digital Banking.
  2. Select Manage Cards.
  3. Choose the affected debit card.
  4. Turn the card off.

When you find the card, you can return to Manage Cards and turn it back on.

I believe it is lost or stolen

Report the card immediately through Digital Banking or by calling 833-735-1894>.

Reporting the card as lost or stolen begins the process of protecting your account and replacing the affected card.

 


Five steps to report a lost or stolen FVSBank debit card through Digital Banking: log in, open Manage Cards, choose the missing card, report it as lost or stolen, and confirm the report.

Follow any additional instructions provided after submitting your report. Contact your local FVSBank branch during normal business hours if you need help with your replacement card.

 


After Your Report Your Card

Take these additional steps to help protect your account:

  • Review your recent account activity
  • Report any transaction you do not recognize immediately
  • Continue monitoring your account for additional activity
  • Make sure FVSBank has your current phone number and mailing address
  • Activate your replacement card when it arrives
  • Update recurring payments that used the previous card number

Even a small unfamiliar transaction should be reviewed. Fraudsters sometimes use a small purchase to test whether a card is active.

Fraudsters may contact you after a card is lost or stolen and pretend to be from FVSBank.

Never provide your:

  • Digital Banking username or password
  • Debit card PIN
  • Card security code
  • Social Security number
  • One-time verification code

Do not rely on caller ID alone. If you receive a suspicious call, text, or email, end the conversation and contact FVSBank using a number published on our website.
