How You May Be Contacted

If fraud is suspected, a live fraud analyst may call you on behalf of FVSBank Card Services to confirm recent activity.

  • Calls may be placed between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm
  • The analyst will address you by name and may reference the last four digits of your debit card.
  • The caller will identify themselves as calling on behalf of FVSBank, or Fox Valley Savings Bank
  • You will be asked whether specific transactions were authorized

If the transaction is fraudulent

Your card will remain blocked to help prevent additional unauthorized transactions.

You will be asked to contact or visit your local FVSBank branch for assistance with replacing your card and reviewing your account.

If the transaction is valid

Your card may be reopened after the activity is confirmed.

In some cases, additional review may be required before the card can be used again.

Additional Debit Card Safety Tips

ATM Safety

  • Inspect the ATM for loose, damaged, or suspicious parts
  • Cover the keypad when entering your PIN
  • Cancel the transaction if anything looks unusual

Online banking safety

  • Never share your username, password, or one-time passcode
  • Change your password immediately if you believe it has been compromised
  • Do not trust caller ID alone. Criminals can make a call appear to come for a legitimate phone number
